About Catherine
Catherine is a Founder, CEO, podcaster, speaker and wellness curator who is constantly building brands, scaling businesses, diversifying her portfolio and brainstorming ways to share everyday lifestyle tips, hacks, and experiences with you.
At just 21, she launched her first online business, Decoralist, and soon became hooked on entrepreneurship and the process of creation. Since then, Catherine has helped women start their own online businesses, whether it’s a dropshipping, affiliate marketing or product ownership model. Everyone should own an online business in the 21st Century purely as an extension of what they are already doing or are interested in. The best part? With the right tools, guidance and mindset, anyone can do it! Not only does Catherine want to inspire you, but she actually wants to help, serve and guide you along your journey. You’ll often hear her say, “allow my hindsight to be your foresight.” One of the greatest gifts you can give another woman is the gift of proof; if Catherine can do it, so can you!
Alongside running her main business Decoralist and advising other brands on strategy, Catherine mentors women to help them navigate the world of eCommerce aligned with their passion and innate style with her flagship program Design Dropship Academy.
Whether you’re starting a business, folding laundry, packing for a trip, baking a cake or lifting weights, I believe in doing things well and wholeheartedly. As such, my biggest motto is, “whatever you do, do it well” and I carry this into my daily life as a reminder. You can expect me to bring this attitude into our relationship together, whether you’re on my email list, completing one of my courses or working with me directly.
Born in Vancouver, Canada, Catherine grew up skiing after school in the winter and sailing in the summer. She loves being outdoors, being active and exploring. At 11 years old, she moved to Toronto for two years with her family before embarking on a journey to England at 13 where she would study at boarding school in Bristol and Buckinghamshire. During her time at Stowe School, Catherine fell in love with History of Art, architecture and design, and decided to follow this passion at Christie’s Education in London for her Undergraduate degree in History of Art and Sotheby’s Institute for her Master’s degree in Art Business. During her studies, Catherine worked in St James’s at David Gill Gallery and for a well-known British interior designer in Chelsea where she acquired ample experience before venturing into the business world herself in her early 20s.
